7 Star Business Consultancy AFZ are a small management consultancy formed in 2021 in the Ajman Free Zone, with the primary focus of helping new or old, small or large, or growing businesses across the United Arab Emirates, and beyond, achieve their HSEQ goals, no matter what industry sector they operate in.   We are also happy to help projects with their HSEQ and other deliverable requirements. Whether a project or business, your success is important to us.

Consultancy can be an effective solution where the expense, or need, for full time HSEQ resources is not a requirement or desire.  It can also be a way for more established organisations to have an independent review or an injection of resource to help with a specific project or objective. 

Our lead consultant has over 30 years experience in delivering business and project management controls and processes.  This experience includes project involvement for multi-million dollar major onshore and offshore oil & gas construction works, solar power generation plant construction, major equipment/product design, manufacture and delivery, offshore decommissioning and internal business management system development for certification.

Gordon - Lead Consultant

Gordon is the lead consultant for 7 Star Business Consultancy. He has over 30 years experience in HSEQ related roles.

The last 15 years of Gordon's career have been in HSEQ management roles for a variety of new start, emerging and established organisations where he has designed, developed and implemented management systems and controls, as well as undertaking improvement programs, initiatives and major project support.  He has successfully implemented management systems that meet the certification compliance requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, as well as API Q1 & Q2 management standards and the specifications and standards set by clients and investors.

His experience covers all aspects of HSE and Quality from office to site, new location set ups, local and global project support, and has managed multi-cultural and multi-disciplined teams covering the full range of Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Quality Control/Inspection and Environmental activities.  He also has experience in internal competence management and training development.

During his career Gordon has been involved in manufacturing, equipment refurbishment & maintenance, commodity and bespoke equipment preparation, site preparation, and management support to multi-million dollar EPCI/EPIC projects.

He is a passionate believer that paperwork does not protect people or a business but it is the clarity and understanding of expectations, the leadership of management, activity ownership by the team and responsibility of the individual, that builds a reliable, efficient and risk-minimised business. 

Gordon is a pragmatic HSEQ practitioner and will always strive to work collaboratively to provide business/project relevant and value-adding results.
